Photography is much more than pointing a camera and pressing a button.
It begins with imagination.
A photographer can stand in exactly the same place as everyone else, looking at exactly the same scene, yet see something completely different. A shaft of morning light, a reflection in a window, a bird landing for just a few seconds, or an ordinary person walking down an ordinary street can suddenly become something special.
That is the magic of photography.
At the Creative Camera Club, we believe that your camera is simply the tool. Your eyes, imagination and creativity create the photograph.
We learn to understand light — how to use it, follow it and sometimes wait patiently for it. Because photography really is painting with light.
You don't have to be an expert, and you certainly don't need the most expensive equipment. You simply need an interest in photography and the desire to learn, experiment and share your work with others.
Through our meetings, photographic outings, competitions and the experience of fellow members, we encourage each other to try something different and, most importantly, to enjoy our photography.

An Example of What Our Shoots Offer

Our club outings are where the real learning happens—like our recent shoot at the Zone 7 off-road bike track. It was hot, dusty, and full of fast-paced action. Perfect conditions for dirt bike photography? That’s what the pros say… but reality threw us a few curveballs!
Shooting into the rising sun, battling busy backgrounds, and trying to freeze flying riders tested everyone’s skills. Luckily, CCC members were on hand with valuable tips—fast shutter speeds, polarizing filters, and panning tricks—and plenty of encouragement.
These shoots are more than fun—they’re your chance to learn hands-on, pick up advice from experienced members, and walk away with photos (and stories) worth sharing.
